The goal of our “Dancers Care” program is to build a culture of giving through service projects, community performances, and annual benefit concert. Our dancers give back, and raise funds for charity!
Volunteering and giving back builds confidence and self-worth in the right way, by showing kids that their actions matter and they can make a difference in the world.
Dancers Care Benefit Concert
We produce an annual dance concert featuring LoMastro Performing Arts Academy's Dance Company.
- Dancers Care Benefit Concert 2018 details and buy tickets.
- “DANCE MOB” is for everyone, not just trained dancers! National Dance Week is FEBRUARY 24 - MARCH 5. Our goal is to promote awareness and enjoyment of dance in the community by encouraging everyone to come together and dance. Learn the dance online or during the last 15 minutes of company rehearsals Feb 24-Mar 2 and then take the stage, or dance from your seat, in the finale of Dancers Care on March 4.
Dancers Care Ensemble
This ensemble is perfect for dancers interested in community service. This Division of our Dance Company produces approximately 30-minute shows which are performed locally at senior centers, nursing homes, and community service events throughout the community (one in the fall, one in the spring). Dancers do service projects with each performance event. A special full ensemble routine will be performed at our Dancers Care Benefit Concert as well as annual Recital. Dancers Care Ensemble is a separate Division for Petite, Youth and Juniors. DCE work is integrated into Senior Divisions (Jazz, Tap, Contemporary) and student leaders will help choose music & choreograph routines for the 2 service shows annually. DCE members are eligible to participate in Jazz Production.
